StreamFlix is a demo service and collects as little as possible. This page explains what is stored and where.

Guest browsing

As a guest, your My List, watch history, ratings and settings are stored only in your own browser (localStorage). They are not sent to the server.

Accounts

If you create an account, your name and email address are stored on the server along with your My List, watch history and ratings so they persist in this browser's profile. We do not sell, rent or share this data.

Cookies

The site uses an essential session cookie for signed-in accounts and a service worker cache to make the app load faster and work offline. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Third-party services

Video previews and streams are loaded from public third-party CDNs (Apple and Mux demo streams). Poster artwork is loaded from Unsplash. Those providers may see general technical logs as part of delivering those assets.

Deleting your data

Open Playback Settings (profile menu) and press Clear all browsing data to wipe local data. To delete an account entirely, contact us from the Contact page.
